Del’avant Event Center is a historically sophisticated venue in downtown LaGrange, Georgia. Blending history with modern touches, Del’avant offers three unique spaces that can accommodate 300 to 450 guests. Weddings, parties, meetings, conferences – we host events of all sizes. About The Venue
Indulge in a night of elegance and celebration in our grand Kress Ballroom. With a sprawling 4,391 square feet, this space accommodates around 300 guests (setup-dependent). A balcony stretching the room’s width, a tin ceiling adorned with eight custom-made chandeliers, and the charm of exposed brick walls and original hardwood floors set the stage for a remarkable evening.
For a more intimate affair, the McLellan Parlor offers a perfect setting. Boasting 2,086 square feet, it comfortably seats 100 guests with tables or up to 300 guests for a wedding ceremony. Exposed brick and Venetian plaster walls, paired with original hardwood floors, create a warm and inviting ambiance, ideal on its own or as an extension to the Kress Ballroom for larger gatherings.
Take your celebrations to new heights at our Rooftop Garden. This 2,900-square-foot outdoor delight accommodates approximately 175 guests. Surrounded by lush greenery, large trees, and a tranquil water feature, it’s the perfect spot to gaze at the stars and create unforgettable memories.
History Of The Building
Once home to the bustling Kress and McLellan five-and-dime stores, Del’avant is now a uniquely charming choice for your special occasions in downtown LaGrange. With modern amenities like two green rooms, a prep kitchen and sound system, your event is well-equipped amidst the historic elegance. Our dedicated event coordinator and support team are committed to making your celebration a truly special one.
Beyond events, Del’avant offers opportunities with retail spaces for rent and loft condos for purchase. As a project of the Downtown LaGrange Development Authority (DLDA), the building underwent redevelopment in 2010, thanks to a gracious gift from the Callaway Foundation. Del’avant proceeds contribute to LaGrange’s ongoing revitalization, aligning with the DLDA’s mission for a vibrant and prosperous community while preserving its cultural and historic heritage.

- Additional wedding coordinator services are available from Del'avant Coordinator, Anna Knight, covering everything from rehearsal direction to onsite assistance.
- Guests may bring their own wedding coordinator.
- Practical amenities abound, including a caterer's prep kitchen, 280 free parking spaces, and a dedicated Del'avant staff member onsite during your event.

It’s a great facility offering abundant space and seating. The staircase offered a great entry point for the wedding party’s exclusive private entrance. And, the event was scheduled with a photo station directly beside the picturesque stairwell. Superb for picture taking in groups, pairs, or even individuals.

Very beautiful venue and the outside was date worthy!!! Definitely a good place for your wedding or event! I loved the modern look and the beautiful gas flame lanterns outside! Also had a built in seating area!
